Strobl ist Instrumentalrock reduziert auf die Kernelemente des Rocks. Ohne dabei ein einziges Wort zu verlieren. Von ganz leise bis ganz laut, mit Zwischenstopps rechts und links der Komfortzone loten Strobl das Spektrum des Instrumentalrocks aus – eine Stunde Musik die ihre Geschichte erzählt.
Ummantelt wird das Gesamtprojekt von Malerei, Lyrik, grafischer Darstellung und audiovisuellen Elementen, welche in Wechselwirkung die Musik beeinflussen und von der Musik beeinflusst werden.
Gegründet 2011, entwickelten in den darauffolgenden Jahren Roman Stift (Bass), Mark Rossiwall (Schlagzeug) und Patrick Bubna-Litic (Gitarre) ihre eigene Interpretation von Instrumentalrock. Das Debütalbum “EZZES” welches in Kooperation mit Künstlern aus verschiedensten Kunstrichtungen entstanden ist wurde am 20. April 2018 veröffentlicht.
Strobl is instrumental music, cultivated from different roots, united in rock, leeching thievishly on different genres. From very quiet to very loud, with intermediate stops to the right and left of the comfort zone Strobl presents their spectrum of progressive music – an hour of music that tells its story.
The entire work also includes the painting for the cover, the poetry for the words and graphic representation for illustration of the record, which have been created freely by the artists without any demands from the band, just only under the influence and inspiration of the music of this record, in a process of cross-fertilization.
Founded in 2011, Strobl released their debut album “EZZES” in April 2018.
